The Far East NDT New Technology & Application Forum is a public platform for academic exchanges in non-destructive testing.

The Far East NDT New Technology & Application Forum (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) is a public platform for academic exchanges in non-destructive testing built by a group of volunteers.

The most important academic activity of the Forum is the annual conference, which is usually held from May to July.
The location of the conference is generally selected in large cities in China, on the condition that there are local units willing to undertake it (usually composed of local universities, special inspection institutions, academic societies, research institutes and enterprises), and there are suitable hotel conference halls and exhibition halls that can accommodate large-scale conferences and exhibitions, and the transportation is convenient.
The location of the conference is finally determined through recommendation, inspection and evaluation.

The publicity, registration and sign-up window of the Forum is the Far East NDT Information Network.

The volunteers who undertake the affairs of the Forum come from special inspection institutions, universities, academic societies, research institutes and enterprises across the country.
All volunteers do not receive salaries.

All the income of the Forum is used for the operation, maintenance, construction and development of the Forum. No individual or unit draws profits or dividends from the Forum.

The Undertaker, Co-Organizer and Supporting Units of the Forum

Undertaker: Generally, they are universities, special inspection institutions, academic societies, research institutes and well-known enterprises in the province or city where the Forum is held.
Responsibilities and obligations (basically but not limited to): Contact local administrative departments and institutions to handle the approval documents for holding the conference; mobilize local non-destructive testing units and personnel to participate in the conference, organize special academic conferences in the province or city where they are located, and provide student volunteers during the conference; jointly undertake the preparatory work as well as the organization and hosting of the conference with the co-organizer.

Co-Organizer: Well-known special inspection institutions, universities, research institutes, academic societies and well-known enterprises that enthusiastically support the construction of the Forum and continuously participate in the affairs and conference services of the Forum.
Responsibilities and obligations: Preparatory work (selecting the time and location of the conference; contacting various academic organizations at home and abroad; inviting the conference chairperson and famous experts and scholars at home and abroad; organizing the registration for academic reports, reviewing and evaluating the submitted papers; mobilizing the participants; soliciting exhibitors; drafting documents, etc.), jointly responsible for the organization and hosting of the conference with the undertaker.

Supporting Unit: Leading institutions, administrative institutions, social groups and well-known enterprises that are willing to support the academic activities of the Forum.

The Purpose, Commitment, Management Concept and Rules of the Forum

Purpose: To strengthen the domestic and international exchanges of non-destructive testing technologies and promote the scientific and technological progress of non-destructive testing in China.

Leader's Commitment: Three Guarantees:
(1) Ensure the healthy development, continuous prosperity and gradual improvement of the quality of the Forum;
(2) Ensure the cohesion and unity of the working team, respect experts and scholars, and treat those who have contributed to the Forum kindly;
(3) Ensure that all the income of the Forum is used for the expenditures of the Forum, and no funds are withdrawn from the Forum.

The Rules Followed in Internal Management: The principle of voluntariness, the negotiation mechanism, loose management, light work pressure, and a harmonious environment.
