Introduction
In July 1998, he graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in material forming, with a bachelor's degree. In July 2004, he graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in material science and engineering, with a doctorate in engineering. In August 2004, he joined the Suzhou Thermal Research Institute of China General Nuclear Power Group. He successively served as engineer and senior engineer of Metal Supervision Institute of Suzhou Thermal Engineering Research Institute, assistant manager and chief engineer of R&D Department of CGNPC Testing Technology Co., Ltd., deputy chief engineer and director of the chief engineer office of the company, and served as technical director of CGNPC Testing Technology Co., Ltd. in October 2017.
Researcher Huaidong Chen's main research directions are quality management and quality control of power station equipment, research on advanced monitoring and testing technology, and research and development of intelligent testing equipment for pre-service inspection and in-service inspection. Now he is a member of the National Energy Industry Nuclear Power Standardization Technical Committee, an editorial board member of "Non-destructive Testing", and a technical expert of the National Non-destructive Testing Standardization Committee.
Researcher Huaidong Chen won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 China Patent Excellence Awards, 1 third prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award, 1 second prize of China Electric Power Science and Technology Award, and China Nuclear Energy Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Award 3 second prizes, 1 first prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first prize of Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award, and 3 second prizes of China General Nuclear Power Group Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published more than 60 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, authorized 30 invention patents and 2 international patents.
