He has been engaged in the research and application of non-destructive testing technology for a long time, participated in or presided over a number of national or AQSIQ projects, led the first TOFD and phased array ultrasonic testing pilot application project in the AQSIQ system, and successfully applied several new non-destructive testing technologies. The construction of major projects and the manufacture of major equipment in many countries have been promoted to be incorporated into relevant national regulations and standards. For many years, he has been responsible for the evaluation of national non-destructive testing personnel for special equipment, and edited and reviewed many textbooks and monographs. He has won 5 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards, participated in the preparation of special equipment regulations and a number of product standards, and is responsible for more than 10 national and industrial standards for non-destructive testing.
